How Solar Panels Works

Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) cells. The cells are made of semiconductor materials, such as silicon, which absorb the sunlight and release electrons. The electrons are then captured by metal contacts on the cell and transferred to a power inverter, which converts the DC electricity into AC electricity that can be used to power your home or business.
